"Gangs Story (Reprint Edition)" is a photo collection by French photographer Yann Morvan. Morvan is a representative French photojournalist, and also works as a writer and military historian. Born in Paris in 1954, Morvan made his name in the 1970s with his work depicting young people living in the underground world of Parisian rockers and bikers. Since the 1980s, he has been a correspondent for the French photo agency Cipapress, covering war and poverty issues in Northern Ireland, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and the Middle East, as well as Thailand, and has even been an honored permanent correspondent for the American magazine Newsweek. This book is Morvan's masterpiece, a history of "gangs" that he has photographed for over 30 years. It is a valuable book with abundant illustrations in both black and white and color, including Hells Angels, Rebels, Skinheads, Black Panthers, and more. The text is in French. The first edition was published in 2012, and this is a new edition published in 2022 with slightly updated content.
