"Una Linea Sutil: Shoji Ueda 1913-2000" is a photo collection by Shoji Ueda, a world-renowned photographer from Japan. While many photographers active in the postwar period were traveling around the world, Shoji Ueda looked up to his hometown of Tottori as his lifelong home, incorporating the local climate, customs, and culture while continuing to explore avant-garde photographic expression. His works are rich in light Japanese emotion and originality, and his modern illustrations that are still relevant today have been described as "UEDA-CHO" and have received high praise worldwide. This book is a catalogue published in 2005 for the retrospective exhibition of Shoji Ueda's works organized by the Spanish foundation Fundación La Caixa de Pensiones, and is a retrospective collection of works from the prewar 1930s to the 1990s. It is written in Spanish, but there is an English translation at the end of the book.
