"Scene" is a collection of works by Italian photographer Alex Majoli (1971-). He started working in a studio at the age of 15, and after graduating from art school in 1991, he documented the closure of a psychiatric hospital on the Greek island of Leros. The work was later compiled into his first book, "Leros." He continued to make achievements with "Requiem in Samba" in South America and "Hotel Marinum," which covered life in port cities around the world, and in 2001 he became a member of Magnum Photos, and later served as its chairman. Since then, he has also attracted attention with his work "Congo," which he co-wrote and published with Paolo Pellegrin, and with Magnum members such as Christopher Anderson, Antoine D Agata, and Thomas Dworzak, in the project "Off Broadway," which spun new stories from works previously published in magazines. This book is a large-format collection of works published in collaboration with MACK during an exhibition at the Paris photo gallery Le Bal. This book is a compilation of images captured over the course of nearly eight years traveling around the world. It contains "dramatic expressions" that are staged and created, and "dramas of expressions" that are born from the performers. It is a "monochrome drama" by the magician of light, Mayori, who has captured various "dramas." English version.
