Moving Away (Signed) is a collection of works by Ishiuchi Miyako, one of Japan's leading female photographers of the postwar period. This is a unique work among Ishiuchi's works, a collection of imaginary landscapes and self-portraits taken between 2015 and 2018 in her home and studio in Kanazawa-Hakkei, Kanagawa, where she has lived and worked for over 40 years. Ishiuchi has presented her photography as a "creation of the extraordinary," and has not taken any photographs herself. By taking these private works, Ishiuchi seems to be freed from the constraints of the past and moving towards a new place. Fragments of the darkroom and studio, daily life, and even Ishiuchi herself can be seen, allowing you to see a side of Ishiuchi that is not known to you. Signed by the photographer .
