"Adult Photography" is a book by Japanese photographers Michio Soejima (1940-) and Yukio Arizono (1947-). Soejima, known for his photographs of the world of the yakuza, was born in Beijing in 1940 and worked as a Tokyo Metropolitan Government employee before becoming a freelance photographer. Arizono graduated from the Tokyo Photography College's Commercial Department and joined the Mainichi Advertising Agency before becoming a freelance photographer. This book features many infrared photographs by Soejima and Arizono, and is centered around Soejima's text and photographs. As the tagline "Secret photos over five years" suggests, the majority of the book is made up of vivid and realistic infrared photos of men and women having sex in the park, but the text is practical in that it explains how to take infrared photos, but also has a strong essay-like, reportage-like nature that includes various things that happened on the set. The sequel to this book, "Adult Photography: Peeping Part II," is written by the close-up photographer Kagura Kazumitsu. First edition.
