A collection of works by Japanese photographer Masahito Yasukake (1969-), "Shuka Soshi / Namekuji Soshi (Signed)". Yasukake, who is also a first-class architect, has been exhibiting his photographic works in galleries since the 2000s, and in 2009, he participated in the launch of the independent photo gallery "3rd District Gallery" in Shinjuku 3-chome, where he has been active for nearly 10 years since then. In 2014, he released his first book, "Shuka Soshi Gaiden," which has received praise from Akira Hasegawa, who is also known for editing Masahisa Fukase's "Karasu" and the Sonorama Photo Selection series. Recently, influenced by the works of Sadayoshi Shioya and others, his work "Roganfudoki / Roganfudoki," which depicts otherworldly landscapes using a digital "mopping" technique, has also attracted attention. This is his second work, published in 2016. This is a book that will captivate you with its unique monochrome worldview.
