The Invisible Contact 1959-1961 (Signed) is a collection of works by Zhang Chao-tang, one of Taiwan's leading photographers. A legend in the Taiwanese photography world who sadly passed away in April 2024. For over 60 years, Zhang has been shooting a wide range of subjects, including photography, film, and documentaries, and has been awarded the National Literary Award and the Executive Yuan Cultural Award, which is said to be the highest honor, and has also won the Sagamihara Asia Photography Award in Japan. He is an artist who is fascinated by his solid aesthetic sense, which combines a sense of design that looks at things like Yasuhiro Ishimoto, with a documentary style based on personal points that is not based on traditional Japanese realism photography like Shomei Tomatsu. This book is a collection of works that introduces valuable early work taken while Zhang was a student at Cheng Kung High School from 1959 to 1961. Signed by the photographer .
