A collection of photographs by Japanese female photographer Satoshi Watanabe "An Invisible Landscape Hitomi Watanabe's Photographs of India-". Shinjuku was the base, stage, and battlefield of the counterculture movement in the 1960s. The legendary photo book "Shinjuku Contemporary" (1968) depicts the passionate spirit of the people who gather there. A demonstration he encountered in Shinjuku sparked his interest in the student struggles of the time, and he was the only one allowed to film inside the barricades, making it a documentary, such as Todai Zenkyoto (1969). Rin Watanabe, a leading female photographer in postwar Japan who continued to depict trends. This book is a book composed of illustrations of India (Tenjiku) recorded for about seven years since 1972. The jersey was directed by the utopian orientation within me, while maintaining the obsession of confrontation between self and others. A personal documentary in a magical land where chaos and harmony coexist.
