Paul's Book is a collection of works by American female photographer Collier Shore. Born in New York in 1963, she majored in journalism at the School of Visual Arts and was active as a critic in the 1990s, but in the 2000s she began exhibiting her work at exhibitions and quickly attracted attention. She is famous for her portraits of young people, fashion photographs, and appropriation works that incorporate the works of Andrew Wyeth and others who influenced her, and she has been praised by Richard Prince. Shore currently teaches at the prestigious Yale University, but this is a collaboration book with the young French artist and model Paul Hamelin, a series serialized in the magazine Re Edition. While it has the appearance of teenager photos like those taken by Larry Clark in the past (there are also poses that imitate Clark's images), it is a beautiful book that gives a glimpse of the intimate and unique communication between the two.
