"Higanite (Signed)" is a photobook by Nobuyoshi Araki, a leading Japanese photographer who continues to enjoy tremendous support worldwide. In 1988, "AaT ROOM" was founded by Nobuhiko Anzai and Shiro Tamiya, who were Araki's disciples at the time. From the 1990s to the 2000s, they published a number of limited edition collections, and this is one of them. Like "Back to Photography," published by the same publisher in the same year, this book was shot with a Russian-made LOMO. However, while "Back to Photography" was entirely in black and white, this book is entirely in color, and in a hazy atmosphere, it is composed of the usual landscape still life interwoven with nude and bondage portraits of women. The opening page is titled "Dedicated to Uchida Masaru," written by the former editor-in-chief of Heibonsha, who has worked on many of Araki Nobuyoshi's collections. It begins with an illustration of Uchida's funeral, and also features Yayoi Kusama and Tadanori Yokoo. Limited to 1,000 copies. Signed by the photographer .
