"Anrakuji" is a photo book by Japanese female photographer Emi Anrakuji. After graduating from Musashino Art University where she studied oil painting, Anrakuji suffered from a serious illness and spent 10 years fighting the illness. After such a time when she was physically and spatially unable to move freely, she started taking photos and made her own private photo books with the photos she had taken, and the number of them reached the ceiling. She then won a number of public competitions, including receiving encouragement from Daido Moriyama and others, and built her career as a photographer. This book is her second book, following "HMMT?" in 2005, excluding the handmade book, and is a collection of works published by Natsuraeli Press in the United States. It is a world of mental landscapes that play on eroticism using self-portraits and other things. Among Anrakuji's works, which are mostly monochrome, this one is composed only of color.
