"Deep" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Naoyoshi Osawa. Born in Otaru, Hokkaido, he graduated from the Graphic Design and Photography Departments of Kuwasawa Design School and studied under Osamu Hayasaki, Japan's leading postwar commercial photographer, who also made a name for himself by photographing the posters for the Tokyo Olympics. He has been working freelance since the 1980s and has taken portraits of actresses and models such as Norika Fujiwara and Chisato Yamazaki, as well as many other famous people in various editorials. He is also active in nude photography, and his work was introduced as one of the photographers in "Venus: The Five Most Popular Writers' Nude Masterpiece Collection" (Seibundo Shinkosha), published in the early 1990s. This book was published by Fuga Shobo in 1993 and features bondage and nude images of female models from Japan and abroad.
