"Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch" is a photo collection by Oklahoma-born photographer Myron Wood. Georgia O'Keeffe is one of the most famous American artists of the 20th century. O'Keeffe was fascinated by the desolate village of Aquiquiu in New Mexico, and found a new lease of life here, a departure from her exhausting life in New York. After the death of her husband Stieglitz, she spent the rest of her life here until her death at the age of 98. O'Keeffe had always refused to be photographed, but at the age of 92, she allowed photographer Myron Wood to photograph Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch. Wood continued to visit the village for over two years, taking hundreds of black-and-white photographs, and this book contains 79 selected images. The collection contains a variety of wonderful images that beautifully capture the unique atmosphere of the house, from a snapshot of O'Keeffe's life to fragments of her studio.
