Ellen Fleiss is one of the founders and editor of Purple, a magazine that dominated the fashion world in the 1990s. The project, which began with partner Olivier Zahm, created the popularity of collection brands such as Martin Margiela and Viktor & Rolf, and led to the rise of artistic photographers such as Wolfgang Tillmans and Mark Borthwick. Ellen, who was originally the daughter of a gallery owner, was based on ``contemporary art'', and, including Olivier, she took an ``approach from art to fashion'' rather than the general ``approach from fashion to art''. This may be one of the elements that created this unique work. This work was edited by Ellen, designed by Shin Orui, and collaborated with Christophe Brunnquell, who also served as art director at Purple, and of course Mark Borthwick, as well as Anders Edstrom. and Camille Vivier.
