Japanese photographer Tatsuo Kurihara's photo book "Shashin Report Okinawa 1961-1970 (Signed)". Japanese journalist and documentary photographer Tatsuo Kurihara. He grew up in downtown Tokyo and his father is an old man who runs a town factory. Although he went to the prestigious private Kaisei junior and senior high school, he was not satisfied with the education that puts the exam above all else, so he transferred. Then, he decided to become a photographer in order to appeal the evils and contradictions of the world through photography. Wanting to study politics with a focus on photojournalism, he went on to study politics and economics at Waseda University and joined a photography circle. There, he worked as an assistant to Hiroshi Hamatani, a pioneer of photojournalism, and participated in conflict sites all over the country. After graduating, he was active in the photography department of the Asahi Shimbun, and became a freelancer in 1967. Since then, Tatsuo Kurihara has been active as a journalist covering Okinawa and Japanese coal mines, and has moved to the United States temporarily since the 1970s. . This book is a collection of works set in "Okinawa" published in 1970. A valuable book that describes in detail the local situation for 10 years up to the mainland. Signed with respect .
